"A Song for Ghosts" by/from Manja Siber@manjasiber

Historical fiction with finest characters.⁣

Plot: Garvanos has not wanted to but he has been sent away from his home and now here he is, a new singer at the Royal Court Theatre. It won't be easy, he knows. He is a born Gypsy, which is just one more problem. But then Ivan takes him under his wing. Ivan who lives who has the most lovely smile and the most wonderful voice. With his help Garvanos finds confidence in himself, in his voice, in his feelings and - and maybe he can make it?⁣

Manja Siber goes straight for the hearts of the readers through her delicate writing style and sensual storytelling. She puts forth composed world building and a vivid novel set in 1848.⁣

A Song for a Ghosts is debut book by Manja Siber that captivates you through its setting, the skillfully developed character, and the portrayal of their journey.⁣

The main character Garvanos and his relationship with his tutor Ivan expressed exquisitely in the book kept me interested throughout the chapters. ⁣

The author lays and unfolds the story at gradual pace allowing the readers to get connected with the story and get familiar with the world.⁣

The story of a chorus singer is guaranteed to provide you with drama and make you fall in love with Opera.⁣

I would give this book 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for it's beautiful setting and would definitely recommend it to readers of drama, and historical fiction. Looking forward to the next book by the author.
