The Obsidian Crown: Children of Fate

"The Obsidian Crown: Children of Fate" by Louisa Gene Moriyama @lgmoriyama The allegorical cover made me inquisitive to dig into the distinctive journey of fantasy. . Plot Evie had the ability to change the directional course of one's fate- but she has hidden and suppressed these abilities through secrets. She soon discovers that she cannot keep these secrets to herself. A new world opens up to her through the careful and mysterious guidance that has emerged from the shadows. But this particular shadow happens to be the son of death itself. .

This fantasy novel has everything I love: well organised plot, strong female character with hidden powers and mysterious unraveling of secrets. . This book took only a minute to get me into it and clenched me till the edge of story. The plot is unfolded at a gentle pace in fifty two chapters that never feels confusing or over whelming. The writing style of author is very smooth reader can easily get into the mind of characters. . The characters are engaging and their is a strong bond with each other. The interesting part of this book is the self-realization of protagonist till the very end of the story which makes the reader recognize the protagonist power and personality. This is a young adult fantasy. Debut book of Louisa Gene Moriyama is at the same time shocking and wonderful. . I would give it 5 stars in a mesmerizing state of mind. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone to enjoy a stunning read. I cant wait to read the next book of this series. . This is first book of a series grab your copy of "The Obsidian Crown: Children of fate"before the Book two "The Obsidian Crown: Frozen Flowers" comes out.
